Happy Hump-asana day, folks! Wait – wasn’t it just Wednesday last time I blinked?
Today I realized that a long weekend in New York + working + teaching ≠ Blogging! That said, today’s Hump-asana celebration comes to you compliments of OmGal a.k.a. Rebecca Pacheco, one of my favorite yogis and bloggers. Since we oftentimes fly through sun sals, let Rebecca’s Surya Namaskar A breakdown serve as a nice reminder of form and energy direction. A step-by-step run-through is always beneficial. Remember: always a student. Fuel that beginner’s mind!
Coming up, I’ll fill you in on yogi lesson(s) learned traveling [think worse than the Southwest line Nazi] and also share an interview with an inspiring pair of yoginis [hint, they heart yoga AND fashion!]. Stay tuned.
For now, keep it real and make this barley dish [deeelish! even the big guy approved, sans tofu]. Later, loves!
Happy Hump-asana Day, fellow yogis! Get your minds out of the gutter – Hump-asana Day, traditionally known as Wednesday or “Hump Day” in lamens/working-folk tongue, is a mid-week yogi treat. Hump-asana Day features a snippet of a pose worth spending some time exploring. And since they’re ALL worth exploring, we’ll never run out of poses for Hump-asana Day – rejoice!
